Adam Sandler and Jim Carrey Movies Out This Spring

New DVD releases of Bedtime Stories, Yes Man, The Wedding Singer, and more provide big laughs for April.
For those of you who just can’t get enough Adam Sandler, he has two different DVD releases coming out in April. There’s his newest family comedy Bedtime Stories and his huge 1998 hit The Wedding Singer, now released on Blu-ray. Jim Carrey fans will have to settle for one release: Yes Man, his most recent movie in which he co-stars with Zooey Deschanel.
Comedy DVD Releases Available April 7
Bedtime Stories (Single Disc and Two-Disc DVD)
- In this Walt Disney family comedy, a hotel handyman discovers that when he tells bedtime stories to his niece and nephew the stories come true – more or less.
- Starring Adam Sandler, Keri Russell, Guy Pearce, Russell Brand, Richard Griffiths, Courtney Cox

- Additional Information: As with all Sandler movies, this one contains lots of cameos with his friends. Look for Allen Covert, Rob Schneider, Sandler’s wife Jackie (Lady Jacqueline), daughter Sadie (Medieval Girl), and other familiar faces.
Yes Man (Single-Disc Edition, Two-Disc Special Edition, and on Blu-ray)
- A banker decides to change his negative ways and say “yes” to everything for one year.
- Starring Jim Carrey, Zooey Deschanel, Bradley Cooper, John Michael Higgins, Terence Stamp, Molly Sims

- Additional Information: This film has frequently been compared to Carrey’s 1997 movie Liar Liar.
The Wedding Singer (Blu-ray)
- This 1998 romantic comedy concerns a wedding singer who gets dumped on his wedding day and has a hard time getting over it.
- Starring Adam Sandler, Drew Barrymore, Christine Taylor, Allen Covert, Matthew Glave, Steve Buscemi
- Director: Frank Coraci
- Discs: 1
- Run Time: 95 minutes
- Rating: Unrated (contains some references to sexuality and alcohol)
- Additional Information: Set in the 1980s, the film includes some of the best music from that decade.

Hiding Out
- A young stockbroker hides out in high school pretending to be a student in order to hide from a mob boss he must testify against in court.

- Additional Information: This 1987 films nicely blends comedy, romance, and crime into a fun little movie early in Cryer’s career, long before his hit television series Two and a Half Men.

- Best friends get engaged in the same week and battle over the same venue and date for their plans of the perfect wedding.
